Thorington-Hines Architects (THA) was established in 2005. In 2014, the firm evolved to EDT-THA Architecture (EDT-THA), a full service, fast-track delivery commercial design firm serving Alabama, the Southeast US, as well as valued clients throughout the United States.

Our design process includes architectural, interiors, engineering, and construction teams being managed from our Architectural PM point of contact. This atmosphere promotes seamless communication and significant cost estimating benefits to the design process. In addition, it promotes smarter and more efficient value engineering decisions early in design.
With increasing experience, we have found that this inclusive teaming process reduces change orders & costs, mitigates risks, and produces higher levels of customer satisfaction.

We specialize in complex, heavy renovations that often require strategic planning to accommodate phasing during occupancy. We have repeat clients in the municipal, federal, and aviation sectors with these specific needs and requirements.
